What is Keryney?

Keryney is an AI-powered travel planning platform that generates personalized day-by-day itineraries and evaluates destination quality using the Keryney Score — a 0–100 rating based on Location, Facility quality, and Experience uniqueness data.

Is Keryney free to use?

Yes. The Free plan gives you full access to AI itinerary generation and Keryney Scores with no credit card required. A Pro plan is available for advanced features including PDF export, photobook creation, and offline access.

What devices does Keryney support?

Keryney is available as a web app on all modern browsers. iOS and Android apps are currently in development.

How does AI itinerary generation work?

Describe your trip — destination, dates, travel style, and budget — and Keryney generates a full day-by-day itinerary. The AI accounts for your preferences, current seasonal conditions, local events, and travel logistics.

Can I edit the generated itinerary?

Yes. Every itinerary is fully editable. Add, remove, or reorder activities day by day. Pro users can also regenerate specific days or sections with AI.

What languages does Keryney support?

The app is currently in English. Additional languages including Japanese, Spanish, French, and German are planned for future updates.

What is the Keryney Score?

The Keryney Score is a 0–100 rating for each destination based on 3 objective data axes: Location (transit access & walkability), Facility quality (amenities & verified attributes), and Experience uniqueness (cultural significance & visitor satisfaction). Scores are derived from OpenStreetMap data — no paid placements, no review manipulation.

How often is the Keryney Score updated?

Scores are updated regularly as new data becomes available. Seasonal components update monthly, while safety and traveler data update more frequently.

Should I avoid destinations with low scores?

Not necessarily. A lower score means the destination has challenges relative to your specific situation — it could be the wrong season, a higher cost, or limited transit. The score is a signal to investigate further, not a disqualifier.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

The Free plan includes AI itinerary generation, Keryney Scores, interactive maps, and up to 5 saved itineraries. Pro adds unlimited itineraries, PDF export, photobook creation, offline access, GPS tracking, and priority AI generation.

Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?

Yes. Cancel anytime from your account settings. You retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period — no prorated refunds for unused days.

Is there a refund policy?

If you are unsatisfied within 7 days of your first Pro charge, contact us at support@keryney.com and we will issue a full refund.

How is my itinerary data stored?

All itinerary data is stored securely in your account and is private by default. You can choose to share specific itineraries via a private link or make them publicly discoverable.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

All personal data — itineraries, photos, GPS tracks, and account information — is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

Is my GPS and photo data private?

Yes. GPS tracks and photos are visible only to you. They are never included in public itinerary views, and we never share or sell personal travel data.
